St. Arnold’s High School, Medarametla is a minority Christian (Catholic) Institution of the Society of the Divine Word. Regd. 3704 of 1995. The school was established in 1973 by Rev. Fr. S. Bernard under a tiled-roof with handful of children. It is conducted by the members of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). An International Missionary Society.

 The Patron Saint of the school is St. Arnold Janssen, who founded the Society of the Divine Word in Holland in 1875. St. Arnold was a good teacher interested in the overall development of his students.  St. Arnold’s High School aims at imparting education for the integral growth of every child. Hence the education is directed towards the training of the pupil’s intellectual, moral, emotional, physical, aesthetic endowments and cultural attainments. Every student is guided towards analysis of things rather than mere rote learning. The school aims at instilling our national culture in every child to stimulate ambition, to expose and nurture the numerous talents of every child. In short, the school aims at moulding the character of every child so as to make him/her a God-fearing citizen and a brother/sister to every person and environment.

The school is opened to all pupils, irrespective of religion, race, community or social status. The course of students is arranged in accordance with the syllabus laid down by the Department of Education of Andhra Pradesh. The medium of institution is English, Telugu and Hindi are also compulsory language to learn. Speaking English is compulsory in the school premises
